Sometimes you may have done something wrong in your house, and you wanted to remove your guilt by saying it was someone else who did it.

…Or one of your friends puts peer pressure on you by saying that “their parents made the iPhone 6”, which is a lie that’s been going on for a while in my school.

This is called lying.

We have all lied to someone at some point in our lives.

What is becoming of Facebook nowadays?

As many of you know, I am not on Facebook, and I hate it. Not only because it is being overused and is now becoming a fad, but recently it has shut down its Gifts platform to focus more on commerce and its newbie, the “Buy” button, which lets you order products online without ever leaving Facebook.

Here is the big, legendary question:

What, may I ask, is Facebook? Is it a true social network like Google+ and Twitter, or is it the next Amazon or eBay?

Many people, because of this, have switched to Google’s alternative to Facebook, which is Google+. However, people still use Facebook and don’t really care about these things because they just want simple social networking. I can see their point.

But I personally thought Facebook Gifts was really interesting and it could send one of your friends a $25 iTunes Gift Card, for example, which is very convenient and nice. But no, it just had to go.

It’s simple: we can have many additional features (especially this Buy button) or we don’t have any features at all.

It is up to you.

It was a great summer.

My summer had started on May 28th, and is close to finishing today. During this summer, I got a real smartphone (a Nexus 5), I revived my old computer for gaming, I focused on my YouTube channel, and I did many more things.

This 2-month period is now over, and looking back at it, it was a long period of hard work and free time.

Speaking of which, I am starting high school this year, and this means a lot to me. Therefore, all jokes aside.

I will be taking a break off YouTube and other social networks for the weekdays, but I will try to be active on weekends (if I finish all my assignments 😋).

It is time that I take school seriously now. This summer has been great, and it shall not be forgotten.

How do I promote people?

It’s very simple, actually. On Twitter , for example, one of my followers (or someone that I follow) may post a link to his YouTube channel, Google+ page, Facebook page, Tumblr blog, you name it… And when I see it, I retweet it.
I even promote my friends, of course.

Sometimes, I get really popular because of that…

Sleep procrastination… It happens every time.

As a hard-working YouTube user, I tend to research, download, and do many more things for my YouTube channel. And sometimes, I might get so concentrated that I might not even be aware about time, because generally this doesn’t matter unless I have a deadline to upload a certain YouTube video.

Or sleep procrastination may happen because maybe you spend too much time on Twitter and Instagram, maybe you have procrastinated in your schoolwork, etc.

Windows is nearing 4 MILLION followers on Twitter!

I myself am a big fan of Windows 8. And I connected with Windows on Twitter. (@Windows) And they are amazing people. Just as amazing as Windows 8.

Windows has been popular on Twitter since 2008 that they have gained thousands and millions of followers. Now they’re close to the next big thing: 4 MILLION.

So, if you like Windows, use Windows, or you’ve never used it (95% chance not true) but heard about how great it is…

…just go on Twitter, follow @Windows, tell them how much you love Windows, and share the news. Because this will be a great day.

Facebook vs. Google+

Well, you guys know me from various places. First of all, I’m on YouTube, SoundCloud, Twitter, and Google+, just to name a few. But one thing also matters: I am not on Facebook.

I am not even kidding. I am NOT on Facebook, and I am not even mentioned on Facebook except on my mother’s Facebook page (and she actually has a picture of herself and me as the main profile picture, but good luck with that since that picture actually dates from 2010 :P). The thing about it is that she didn’t let me have a Facebook account until a certain unknown requirement which maybe I might never meet. Well, who knows what, the day might come.

This was so not good. At the time (in 2011), my only social network was SoundCloud. I also joined YouTube later that year, but I didn’t upload any videos. All I did was subscribe to channels and favorite stuff, and even start comment fights. 😛

But there was another alternative to Facebook I was completely unaware of, and that was Google+. I actually found out about it after my other channel was killed due to it not being connected to Google+. I started using it only last year for my new YouTube channel, but I had to use my real name for my personal page. How frustrating. (UPDATE: These restrictions have been removed recently.)

After my extensive use of Google+ recently, I have found it so much better than Facebook in some cases. Here are a few benefits about Google+:

1. Google+ comes from the most popular search engine company in the entire world.
2. People that are on Google+ discuss serious facts and opinions and share their interests, which I find very convenient. People on Facebook, however, share memes and pointless articles, even comedy stuff. Some people do that most of the time. You know what?! If you want to do that, get 9GAG or Tumblr. I don’t know what else to say.
3. Google+ is Facebook features + Twitter features + Skype features (Hangouts) + more.
4. Google+ offers a better interface for businesses like The Verge and Engadget.
5. If your YouTube channel is connected with Google+, your channel will get verified (see the check mark?) if you reach 1,000+ followers on Google+ and 3,000+ YouTube subscribers (info from Freedom!)

There are many more reasons why Google+ is better than Facebook, but you should find these out yourselves. Until then…

As you may know, I’m not a very good gamer, but I do enjoy video games. So while I save money for my coming soon PlayStation 3 (since I have only a Wii that currently doesn’t work due to the power supply being damaged after a power surge), here are the games I plan to buy!

Internet Explorer…

It’s true, Internet Explorer, the web browser from Microsoft, has been used by many people around the world. But it has become so popular that so many hackers have developed viruses and other malware designed for it, and that is not a good thing.

But there are still many reasons why not to use Internet Explorer: I will cite 5 of them.

1. It is insecure. Microsoft had advertised Internet Explorer 6 as a much safer browser than Internet Explorer 5.x (also for Mac OS X, Solaris, and HP-UX [which were horrible]); but this was not the case, even for the sooner released Service Pack 1.

2. It is unbelievably slow. The main issue with Internet Explorer, people say, is SPEED. It is so slow that you could actually make yourself a sandwich, check the latest Twitter/Google+/Instagram updates, finish your sandwich… and, wow. STILL LOADING 😦

3. Their bug fix schedule is ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS! Microsoft usually has a schedule to fix IE bugs. But when the day comes to fix it… Wow. Microsoft just REPORTS IT TO ANOTHER DATE, therefore making it slower and buggier. Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox, on the other hand, find a bug and fix it immediately. In addition, they reward the people who actually found a bug in the software. Microsoft is the complete opposite.

4. It doesn’t support most add-ons. Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Opera, the top three Web browsers, all have add-on support and an add-on marketplace (or store). Internet Explorer DOESN’T. So that means… no AdBlock Plus support.

5. The Adobe Flash Player implementation is… HORRIBLE. You are forced to install the updates manually, and it’s just annoying. Google Chrome has Flash integrated and updates Flash Player in the background without you noticing. Why, IE? WHY!? Please keep in mind that this is my personal opinion about Internet Explorer.
